BetWest in figures: the casino and sportsbook as members find them

The site in figures

The casino

The casino groups its games as classic slots, modern slots, Bonus Buy slots, Megaways slots, jackpot slots and instant games, with table games and live dealer tables beside them. Titles such as Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Starlight Princess and Big Bass Bonanza are listed among the jackpot-marked games. The live casino lists more than 600 titles, among them game shows with the stake range printed on each tile.

Live casino groups

Game Shows hold host-led titles such as Mega Roulette, Money Time, Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Gates of Olympus Roulette and Treasure Island. Live Dealer Tables hold blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker and dice. Gold Saloon Games is a branded group of tables, and International Tables offers Spanish, German, Italian, Turkish and Brazilian formats.

The sportsbook

The sportsbook covers football, basketball, tennis, ice hockey, table tennis, American football, baseball and eSports, before the match and live. Horse racing and virtual sports have their own entries. A bet and a spin draw on the same balance.

How rewards are organised

Rewards have four parts that depend on one another. Coins are credited at 5% of deposits and 10% of bets. Challenges add coins: a one-time task can pay 10 coins, and a full set of 20 challenges adds 500 coins. The Shop sells bonus money, free spins and free bets for coins. The Wheel of Fortune offers prizes of up to a stated maximum, and VIP Levels give a long-term ladder: promotions and 24-hour chat at levels 1 and 2, personalised offers, higher withdrawal limits and cashback at levels 3 to 5, and a personal manager at levels 4 and 5. We publish no thresholds for the levels, because none are stated on the site.

Tournaments and challenges

Four events are listed under Tournaments: Drops & Wins, Gold Saloon Weekly and Monthly Spin Madness in the casino, and Grand Arena in the sportsbook. Each card shows its prize pool, its minimum bet and a countdown. Challenges split into casino and sports tasks; a weekly casino challenge asks for 150 spins at a minimum stake, and a weekly sports challenge asks for a minimum stake and minimum odds of 2.0.

The Shop

The Shop has five categories: All, Best Sellers, Bonus Money, Free Spins and Free Bets. Rewards are bought with coins and credited automatically, and the free spins on sale name their games, among them Better Bass Cash, Fish Tales and Cash of Cleopatra.

Offers that recur

Alongside the welcome package there is a weekly reload with 50 free spins, a weekend reload, a daily cashback of 15% on casino play and a live cashback of 25%. We describe percentages and multipliers; amounts in pounds are shown in the offer itself, in the account.

Account currency and language

A member chooses a country and a currency from two drop-down menus at registration. For a UK account we describe everything in pounds sterling. The interface is offered in English, German, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish and Spanish, among other languages.

Sportsbook promotions

The sportsbook runs its own list of promotions: a first-deposit bonus of 100%, a weekly reload of 50%, a weekend reload of 50%, a cashback bonus of 10% and a horse racing reload of 50%. The 2 goals payout and the accumulator boost have cards of their own. Caps appear in the offer in pounds, in the account.

Languages and communication

Our support team answers in several languages. Live chat suits a question with an answer today. Email suits a request that needs a record, such as a currency correction or a missing bonus, and the message should carry the account name, the date and the time of the payment concerned.

How we describe figures

We publish a figure when the site states it or when independent sources agree on it. Where sources give different values for the same item, we leave the value out and send the reader to the live account. Percentages and multipliers are stated; a deposit minimum, a monthly cap or a processing time that we cannot confirm is left out.

Live chat, email and self-exclusion requests

Live chat is open 24 hours a day, and the email address is [email protected]. Writing to our support team is also the route for self-exclusion; the player remains responsible for not opening a further account.

Play within limits

Gambling is entertainment and not a source of income. Our responsible gambling page lists the warning signs, the controls we apply on request and the independent organisations that help: GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy. A filter such as Net Nanny keeps gambling sites away from children.
